This item is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer. It is specially designed for use with Jet and Wilton sanders. The idler pulley helps to apply tension on the belt. Over time it may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. It is made of high-quality material and is sold individually. Check the diagrams of your model for the exact location and the correct installation of this part. You will need a wrench set to remove and secure the hardware that holds the idler.
First remove the cover and sanding belt. For the drive wheel remove the set screw in the wheel and slide it off the drive shaft.
