Specifically
1. Remove power cord from wall
2. Unscrewed the two flathead screws securing the brushes inside
3. Pulled brushes from each side
4. Removed the 5 or 6 T15 TORX screws
5. Removed collar on drive shaft and hanging bracket from the rear
6. Took top off a ... Read more nd notated which wires went where.
7. Removed the two brush holders and replaced with new ones
8. Reassembled and tested

2. Wire power cord to new switch assembly
3. Attached brush holders to field
4. Attached field to switch
5. Routed wires to specific points so unit will close and run
6. Place all button and lock knobs in place.
7. Reassembled unit

Separated the two sides of the housing.
Unplugged the brush holder from the motor
Plugged news brush holder in and set in correct place.
Put housing back together
