The original blade clamp was held in place with a roll pin. The new, upgraded version is held in place with a set screw. The new blade clamp is slightly different from the original and does not fit well on the old slider. Just remove old worn out blade clamp with allen wrench and slip new one on.
saved me $100.00 bucks on new saw

Not a big deal take the broken part off and put the new part on the shaft. You will need a set of metric allen wrenches

1. Disassembled front 3rd and determined that the slider shift was broken.
2. Replaced slider shaft, needle bearing 708, and blade clamp.
3. Applied bearing grease where needed.
4. Replaced insulation cover.
