Used the details from the parts diagram to disassemble the saw and replaced the broken shaft. All of the parts were a perfect fit and the saw worked perfect once the repairs were completed.

Reciprocating shaft broke

There are some very good videos on this repair. It is important to have a flame heat source (propane torch) to release the screws that hold the yoke assembly to the shaft. Heat the screws and then wait for the cooling before trying to loosen.
