This is a genuine manufacturer-sourced replacement part which is specially designed for DeWALT reciprocating saws. The bearing allows connected parts to rotate with minimum friction, unfortunately, over time components will wear out and may begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement. There are some very good videos on this repair. It is important to have a flame heat source (propane torch) to release the screws that hold the yoke assembly to the shaft. Heat the screws and then wait for the cooling before trying to loosen.
