Product Description

?

This is a genuine Presto replacement part, it is sold individually. The purpose of the 09924 Pressure Cooker Sealing Ring/Overpressure Plug Pack is two-fold. The sealing ring is used to create a seal between the Pressure cooker lid and the pressure cooker pot. In the event if the pressure regulator fails, and to much pressure builds up in the pot, the Overpressure Plug will pop out of the lid releasing the excess pressure in the pot.

I pulled the old sealing ring from the lid of the pressure cooker. I then cleaned out the area where the old ring was, so it would seal correctly. I placed the new ring in the lid with no problems. I removed the old pressure plug and replaced it with the new one. It\'s like I have a new pressure cooker again.

I removed the old handles and replaced them with the new ones . It was just 1 screw for each handle. I removed the old seal and pressure plug ( it just popped out) and replaced the seal and popped in the new plug. My at least 50 year old pressure cooker works like a dream. I can remember my mother using it when I was very little. They sur e don\'t make things like they use to.
