The nut that secures the drive pulley to the cutter barrel loosened and fell off. The pulley, key and cutter barrel shaft were damaged

Remove the top shroud. Remove the cutter deck from the base to access the end of the cutter barrel from behind the height adjustment screw.
Install the new key, pulley and nut, putting a thread locking agent on the cutter barrel threads to hopefully prevent the nut coming adrift again.
Reassemble planer after polishing an d waxing the alignment rods at the four corners of the machine.

Remove right side cover & Pulley Install new key & Pulley & nut Install belt back on and side cover. And it is back working like new

Took side off planer(Allen wrench and screwdriver)
Put pulley back on with new key and nut to hold in place
Tightened nut and put belt back on
Replaced side and tightened back up
Started up and ran great

Pulled side cover and bottom cover to expose chain drive and gears. Pulled adjustment shaft and then pulley and key. replace both. Reassemble and ran planer to check accuracy.

Simply removed shrouds/covers then removed what needed to be removed, followed by replacing broken parts. Very straight forward

Replace cover

I took the top cover off, then the side covers exposing the Insides. Insert nut and tighten with the adjustable wrench. That\'s it. While I was on there I vacuumed all the shavings and used a dry lube on the threads.
