This authentic item is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with planers made by DeWALT. The bracket goes next to the sprocket. When replacing this part a screwdriver might be required during the installation process. It is made out of metal and will need to be replaced if it breaks. This item is priced individually.
Remove retaining rings take off both sprockets on one chain. I then put both back on at same time. Then put retaining rings on and cover.
