My delta planer no longer feeds the wood through and it sounds like a stripped gear ? What do i need
James - March 11, 2023

Hi James, Thank you for your question. If your planer is not feeding the wood, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. We recommend checking the drive belt, the infeed and outfeed rollers, the planer knives and the key. If you suspect the gears, you will need to check them to. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service. We look forward to hearing from you!

Loosened screws to cover of exiting material. Unscrewed and removed the 8 blade holding screws. Removed old blade, reversed it if the other side had not been used, which is the case here. Re-attached the screws. All is well. What I can\'t figure out is how to re-attach the material deflector which has vibrated loose just above the cu tter head rotator. The bulkhead above the wood entrance to be planed is blocking access to re-attaching the debris deflector. If any one can give me directions or provide me the path to get the instructions as to how to do this, please send me an e-mail to [email protected] .
