Removed the gun cap using an hex wrench set (American). Removed the piston and found the seal at the top of the drive pin petrified and broken into many pieces. Cleaned the entire tool with stoddard solvent, examining all of the parts for wear and fit. Replaced the piston seal after lubricating the cylinder with gun oil and silicone. I t was necessary work the trigger rod up and down using a Kroil solvent until it worked freely. The gun was then reassembled with sufficient lubricant to make it really snotty for a while. Congrats to Senco. I\'ve owned that tool for 36 years. This is the first repaired I\'ve had to do. This has been a shop tool at my business for all of those years. Simply incredible!

Installed all the new seals I ordered. The nylon seal needed to be heated up so it would streach. I put it in a dish of water and microwaved it for one minute on high, that made it just flexible enough to get it on to the piston top.

Disassembled from the top and found the main seal in multiple pieces.
Ordered part
No instructions came with the part, and it would not stretch over the flange of the piston.
After several failed attempts, I resorted to warming it with a heat gun at which point I was able to stretch it onto the piston and seat it in th e groove.
Reassembled and tested. Success.
