It is an OEM supplied item that is made for Max nailers. This is the special O-ring that provides a tight seal for the piston. Unfortunately, over time it can wear out and it may begin to crack eventually requiring a replacement. A worn piston O-ring can cause low compression resulting in poor performance. Check the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. Keep in mind this high-quality O-ring is made of durable material and is sold as an individual item. A screwdriver will be needed to take apart and reassemble the housing when replacing this component.
