Movable nose on Bostitch MCN 250 positive placement was fractured causing difficulty aligning the nails and firing nails

2. Use a small flat head screwdriver to pry loose the 2 round plastic retainers that help keep the plastic movable nose cover in place.
3. Use the same small flat head screwdriver to pry the two plastic \"legs\" off of the two pins from which the plastic retainers were removed and th ... Read more en remove the plastic nose cover away from the nailer while sliding the cover in the direction of the tip of the nailer (some bending of the flexible plastic cover is required).
4. Remove the inhex (allen) bolt (3mm head) which attaches the movable nose to the nailer being careful not to lose the coil spring and noting the position of the spring (large opening vs. small opening in coil spring) and the \"t\" piece of the movable nose.
5. Replace the movable nose being careful to properly orient the coil spring, install and tighten the allen bolt, install the plastic cover being careful to pry to \"legs\" up over the locating pins and push on the two round plastic retainers.
6. Don your safety glasses, attach air hose and test fire nailer into wood surface.
7. Congratulate yourself on a job well done and vow to accurately place all nails in the connector nail hole to prevent fracturing the movable nose again.
