?This is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement part designed for use with Bostitch staplers. The purpose of this piston bumper is to keep the piston from hitting the bottom of the cylinder and damaging it. Because this part get so much abuse it has a tendency to crack and fall apart. If you see any pieces of this bumper falling out from your nail gun, it is definitely time to replace it. This item is made out of plastic material and it is sold individually.
