Hello Denise, Thank you for the question. We suggest checking the Brushes for wear or damage. This could also indicate the Control Plate is faulty. Speed control plate controls both the speed of the mixer and it?s on/off function. We hope this helps!

If your mixer does not start, you will need to check the control plate, the phase control board, the carbon motor brushes, the wiring, the planetary, the shaft and the gears.
