This is an authentic OEM part. The DeWALT pivot plate is constructed of high-quality metal, and has been designed for use with many miter saw devices. This item fitted onto the lower guard assembly, and helps to rotate it. Although the pivot plate is available for individual sale, it is also found in the lower guard assembly (N407266). A screwdriver and a wrench is necessary in the removal and replacement.
