This is available as an individual replacement part and is made of metal. The thrust bearing goes between two thrust washers and helps to reduce friction. If this part becomes broken it will need to be replaced and may require a socket set during the installation. This is an OEM DeWALT part directly sourced from the manufacturer for use in table saws and miter saws.
