?This is an original replacement part manufactured for use with miter saws. Switches wear out from normal use, and are one of the first parts to break down on power tools. Replacing a worn out switch can be an easy fix, and extend the life of the saw. A screw driver is required to install the switch, please note the switch is sold individually.

Trigger Switch contacts were worn to the point they were arcing. I also had to repair on of the plastic mounting posts for the switch

2. Disconnected the wire connections from the defective switch
3 removed the bad switch
4 drilled out the broken mounting post supporting the switch
5 inserted a metal ferrule to replace broken mounting
6 connected wiring to new switch

9 repair completed, saw is working fine
