The switch is secured to the switch box assembly, allowing the operator to (de)activate the engine. This component is sold individually. A screwdriver and a pair of pliers are needed for the proper installation.

Remove screws from the housing
Remove the nut on the switch
Make a wiring diagram
Transfer the wires from the old switch to the new one
Assemble in reverse order
Remove 6 screws on switch cover, loosen nut on switch, remove and note wire positions, replace wires on new switch, reinstall cover, test, get to work!
