This is a genuine replacement part sourced from the original manufacturer for use with handheld blowers. The plastic air box filter cover is used to house the filter, and secure it to the air box base. The air box filter cover also fits over the carburetor protecting it from external contact. The filter cover snaps into place, so tools are not required to install the part. The filter cover is sold individually.

Blower would not run or start on anything but full throttle. even with full carburetor kit, gas lines, filters, and spark plug new.

Piston ring --
1. Take air filter cover off
2. Take carburetor and gaskets off.
3. Spark Plug remove
4. Take motor housing plastic off.
5. Take off torx bolts for crank case cover and motor head/cylinder.
6. Remove old ring from piston( keep piston on rod and crank shaft.
7. put new ring on / put cylinder head back on.
Moved to impeller install---
1. large amount of case screws with allen head use a power driver.
2. use socket lodged in crank case to brace( so the motor does not spin) when removing impeller nut.
3. Install and tighten down impeller.
4. reinstall all case screws and crank case torks screws.
Too finish all---
reinstall all plastic covers including adding new missing air box cover.(without choke sticker)

Blower air filter broken

Remove the old airbox cover by hand, remove the old filter, remove the air box base by unscrewing the screws.
Install all of the new parts in reverse order

I found out that the Cover - Air Box filter and the Filter were not there. I ordered them for $14 and arrived after 6 business days. I installed them, in one minute, my blower works well now

Replaced the cracked air box cover, worn filter and air box base

The air box cover just snaps off. Then just replace the old filter with the new one. Remove the two screws holding the base on and remove it, and screw on the new one
