1. Remove the screws that hold the handle together.
2. Once that is apart remove the torx screw that holds the cruise control handle on.
3. Install the new CC handle - it is keyed with a flat area - spring washer & new screw in kit.
4. Re-install the handle

(Cruise Control lever replacement) Remove pull start assembly, remove outer housing, remove screw and crush washer holding cruise control lever in place, install new parts, re-assemble outer housing. Easy repair, good tool.
