This is a genuine Ruixing replacement part, it is sold individually. By pressing the bulb, it will purge the carburetor of air. Fuel will be forced up from the fuel tank through the fuel line then into the carburetor. Then the excess fuel will be forced back into the fuel tank through the fuel return line. At some time the primer will lose its elasticity or crack and need to be replaced. We have an article and video on How to Replace a Primer Bulb, in our Repair Center. I removed two phillips head screws that held the fuel bulb in place. I removed the cover and replaced the cracked fuel bulb with the new one. I then removed the fuel tank by removing a center screw. Removed 4 screw that were holding the primer bulb plate on the carburetor. Removed the plate and put the new primer bulb on the carburetor, then replaced the plate and 4 screws. Then simply removed the old fuel cap and replaced it with the new one.
Remove 2 screws from carburetor, remove the primer bulb bracket, discard the crack primer bulb, install the new primer bulb, install the primer bulb bracket and screw it to the carburetor.
About the spool it was just a matter of removing the empty spool and replaced with the new one.
Unscrewed fuel injection and pulled parts apart. Took out old primer bulb and new bulb seated perfectly. Put pieces back together and screw into mower. Make sure screws are tight because an air leak will prevent the blower from running continuously
