This replacement carburetor is specially designed for Echo backpack blowers. It is a genuine OEM supplied item, not an aftermarket imitation. The purpose of a carburetor is to mix air and gas into a combustible mixture that is sent to the engine. When replacing carburetor it is advised to replace carburetor gaskets ensuring optimum performance. You will need a screwdriver to perform this repair. This assembly includes a metal carburetor and a flexible rubber primer bulb.

Carburetor leak gas when primed .

Remove two screws to the carburetor unhook the throttle cable and replaced the carburetor.
I had to make a couple adjustments on the carburetor to the gas and air.
Runs perfect now.

Removed carb, two screws placed new gaskets placed gas lines hooked throttle linkage tightened new carb in place tight. Primed bulb pulled twice it fired.
Spent 15 min adjusting high speed and low speed jets.

1. replaced the fuel filter. That worked last year 2017.
2. replaced the fuel filter because it worked in 2017, but not in 2018.
3. replaced the carburetor, 2018, and she runs like a dream.
