Product Description
?This is a manufacturer approved carburetor made for use with Echo handheld blowers. Carburetor mixes air and gas before the mix goes to the engine. This carburetor has a metal body and a rubber primer bulb. It is advised to replace gaskets (sold separately) when replacing carburetor to ensure top performance. To replace this carburetor you would need a screwdriver. • Remove air cleaner cover, filter and base • Remove old carburetor and install new carburetor using two (2) screws • Re-assemble and test the unit

2. Undo fuel lines and throttle rod
3. Remove old carburetor and replace with new
4. Reconnect fuel lines and throttle rod
5. Reinstall two bolts and air cleaner
I replaced the fuel lines and filter and did get it to start , but the blower would not take the gas.

Checked gasket. gasket looked good.

Put gas in tank . Primed carburetor, choked and pulled starter rope.

I ordered the replacement carburetor back in July and received on July 26th, but didn\'t initiate the R & R until just yesterday (Sep 23rd).
I primed the bulb, put the choke on, made one pull, got a \'pop\', took the choke off and I am in business! I swear, this Echo Blower (from 2011) runs better n ... Read more ow than when it was new!
On a scale from 1 (being poor) to 10 (being excellent), I give this exact replacement carburetor a 10!

Remove the screws holding the air cleaner base and the carburetor
Remove the carburetor and the gasket
Insert the two screws into the air cleaner base, through the carburetor and the gasket
