I disconnected the fuel hose from the carbureter, removed the fuel tank brackets, discarded all of the original rubber parts, cleaned the tank thoroghly with solvent and paper towels, threaded the new fuel line into the tank, installed the new fuel filter, installed the check valve & gasket in the fuel cap. Replacement of air filter and switch are obvious. Take off the old, replace with the new. (Don\'t try to solder the wire to the switch tag because it will melt the switch internal parts. ... Read moreed fuel line and grommet diameter design over the years. The diameter of hole in tank and diameter of grommet might require some adjustments, depending on year of your equipment. The grommet I received did fit the tank perfectly, but the fuel line was just a bit tight fitting through the grommet. I had to work it fairly vigorously to get it through, but it did fit and works great. Tight to tank, and tight to fuel line. No leaks now.
