This is an authentic OEM part from Craftsman for use with Leaf Blowers. The recoil starter rope coils around the pulley of the recoil starter. The most common reason for replacing the starter rope is if it is broken or frayed. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the starter rope is a T25 Torx bit screwdriver, spring clamp, Phillips head screwdriver, and pliers.
