It was easy once I figured out that to get at the PTO lever connection for the cable, all I had to do was move the gas tank. I didn\'t even have to disconnect the fuel line. The fuel tank is held in place by a brace or bar.

Blade cable pto needed replacing. only one strand of wire left on the cable.
I followed the owner\'s manual instructions for removing the mower unit from under the riding mower. Then I found an on-line utube video that showed the procedure for replacing the blade cable. The gas tank had to be removed to access one end of the cable. The cable was then attached to the pto handle assembly. Then the mower unit was rea

I was surprised these guys had the cable in stock, Toro stopped making my mower in the eighties!!!! I will be back if I ever need a part
