Removed the deck and routed the new belt like the old one. While the deck was off, I was able to clean it all up and make it look new.

Pulled mower deck to sharpen blades. Noticed V-belt was worn, cracked and split (10 yrs olde). Replaced with new part from eReplacement.

Pulled deck off Toro z-turn mower. Only needed needle nose pliers. Took pulley covers off and replace belt. Replaced pulley covers. Put deck back on. Easy

the drive belt broke in half. it was easy to get out but had to remove a few more parts to replace belt.

first i had to remove the wiring to the electric clutch then i had to remove the alignment guide from the clutch. then i had to remove the mower deck, after that i could install the drive belt. the next step was to reverse the process and put everything back together.
