This is a genuine part which is supplied directly by the original equipment manufacturer and is used with Simplicity, and Snapper lawn tractors. The V-belt connects the crankshaft pulley to the transmission pulley which rotates the wheels and propels the tractor. This belt is made of rubber and is sold individually. Before installing this part, let the engine cool, disconnect the spark plug wire, and make sure the gas cap is tightly secured. For installation, you will need are a torque wrench a socket wrench to aid you.
