This mower blade is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part. It is specially designed for use with Snapper and Simplicity lawn mowers. Lawn mower blades can be maintained with frequent cleaning and good sharpening, but they eventually wear out requiring replacement. This part is made from durable metal and it is sold individually. To replace it you will need a wrench to remove the bolt that secures the blade.
