Took my lawn tractor to a repair shop. They told me that I could no longer get parts for the Murray tractor because they went out of business and the tractor is 14 years old. So I took it upon myself to look on the internet and found eReplacementparts. Found a replacement for the part I needed. When I received the part I removed the 3 bol ts, took off the old muffler and put on the new one........tractor is quiet and working great!!!!

Original muffler was rusted, corroded internally and the baffles inside were gone. Basically a shell.

Removed two bolts for the muffler, one bolt for the bracket that held it to the block. Very simple repair.

Removed old original muffler. Got area prepared for new muffler and gasket. Longest and hardest part was removing old muffler and attachments. Once old parts were removed the new parts went back on easily enough. Mower running fine now!
