Tube drain, you just push it into the drain on the oil drain on the machine and let the old oil run into a bucket.
You get out your socket set, find the correct size and screw the new washout port into the hole on the deck.
Then you screw the coupling Quick Connect thing onto the garden hose and click the hose into the Washout ... Read more Port. Fire up the mower, put the brake on and turn on water hose, then get back on the mower and engage the blades and let it wash out the junk from under the deck. Set brake, turn off blade and disconnect garden hose and turn the blades back on and let them run to dry things off under there. Lots of instructions but a very simple thing to do. BTW, I am going on 83 years old~
