This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Toro outdoor power equipment. The screw is commonly used to secure a part assembly to the handle and is used in different applications depending on the model of equipment. This screw is sold individually, please see model diagram for associative parts.
1. Disconnect the spark plug.
2. Measured cable length. Removed deck plug and cable above the deck and disconnected the spring from below the deck.
3. Remove the rear plastic chute assemble four nuts/bolts and two top deck screw(to allow easy access for spring installation).

5. Adjusted cable length to original dimensions.
6. Installed rear plastic chute assembly.
7. Reconnected spark plug and readjusted cabling length for appropriate personal pace operations.
It was a pretty easy repair, just undo all the screws and bolts on the old parts and then put the new ones in (some of the parts, like bolts were still in good shape so I mixed and matched for what worked best regarding nuts and bolts). ... Read morendle but otherwise it is very straight forward replacement of parts.
One thing I got wrong, though, is that the upper handle is not symmetric and the bolt securing the cable anchor has a square head, so you\'ll want to make sure to get that right...square hole goes to the left size (orientation is relative to the mower being in front of you, like you are holding the handle and mowing). I didn\'t realize that until I had the whole thing almost entirely back together again. If you miss that like I did, you can also use a hammer to seat the bolt so you don\'t have to disassemble everything again.
