This is a genuine manufacturer supplied replacement fuel filter. It is specially produced for use with Toro snowthrowers. This is a plastic fuel filter that is sold individually. Its purpose is to filter out any contaminants from the fuel before it goes into the engine. It will over time get clogged and restrict the fuel from getting to the engine. To replace this filter you should only need pliers to remove and install the clamps that secure fuel lines.

Snow blower is a Toro 20 year old 2-cycle. It was leaking fuel from the carburetor and hard-to-start. I replaced the spark plug, fuel filter, fuel lines, primer bulb, and primer vacuum line. I also rebuilt the carburetor with the gasket kit. All was relatively easy, and the snow blower now runs like new!
Removed fuel tank and fuel line to to replace the fuel filter. The air filter was simply replace the old with the new foam air filter.
The problem with the repair was replacing the fuel lines. The Toro fuel lines were the right diameter but the orifice was too small and it did not allow adequate fuel flow to the carburetor. Toro ac
