I\'m still working on this repair. Replacing the ball bearing and bearing retainer was simple. The biggest problem is removing the retaining ring clip to access bearing retainer. I bought a special tool to expand it. But it doesn\'t expand it wide enough and I really had to wrestle with it. Once I got it off, the bigger challenge was putt ing the new one back on after replacing the ball bearing and bearing retainer. The pliers don\'t expand it enough to get it back on. I\'m going to Northern tool to look for a better tool. The one I bought at an auto parts store simply doesn\'t open wide enough.
