The belt guide goes next to the belt and is made out of metal. This is available as an individual replacement part. This authentic item is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Toro lawn mowers. During replacement, it may require a screwdriver to help install this part correctly. It may become bent or broken and will need to be replaced.

Bolts that secure engine to the deck and hold the drive belt guide bracket in place, had worked loose. This allowed the bracket to drop into the path of the blade thus ruining the bracket.
