This is a genuine manufacturer approved replacement mulching door torsion spring designed for use with lawn mowers. It allows for the mulching door to retract. This torsion spring is made out of metal and it is sold individually. Replacing this item you would need a wrench and pliers.

Hello Bob, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched the model number you have provided and the mounting bracket does not come with the chute. The chute is installed by lifting up the mulch plug and snapping the chute into place underneath it, as seen in our video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxwoxwNW4wE If the mulch plug is damaged, then you would need to replace it or the bracket which we have listed as related parts below.
