The cable fit my Husqvarna HU700F perfectly. It went on very easily, after I viewed a YouTube video. I had read several reviews that mentioned that the cable they received for their HU700F was about 1 inch too short and the self propel drive would not disengage! Basically, I found 3 prices Online. The prices were approximately $14, $40 and $65. After a little research, I found that the HU700F that I have was made between 2000 and 2012. The product numbers for the other two were manufactured at other times and evidently are slightly different lengths. Of course the cable I needed was $65 and after shipping and tax, it totaled to approximately $75! That’s for one cable! I personally feel it was too expensive and deducted a STAR. The reason that I finally bought it is because, since the product number (signifying the years of manufacture) was included in the cable product description, it should insure the cable would be the correct length for my mower. Also, I didn’t want to buy a new lawnmower just because the I felt the cable was over priced! Make sure to find the product number as well as the model number on your Husqvarna mower before you order your part. I hope yours is the $14 cable.
