This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement deck belt. It is specially manufactured for use on Husqvarna walk-behind lawn mower. This is the the belt that drives the mower blades. Over time belts tend to stretch and wear out requiring replacement. This part is made out of strong durable rubber material and it is sold individually. To complete this repair you will need a set of wrenches. • Remove the belt cover • Move the belt guard • Remove the drive belt • Install the drive belt • Reinstall the belt guard • Reinstall the belt cover • Adjust the drive cable

1. Removed all wheels.
2. Removed all plastic covers and housings for access to drive components.
3. Cleaned 5 pounds of mud/grass from inside front drive upper and lower covers.
4. Ground heavy rust from drive surfaces of front transmission pulley.
5. Replaced idler pulley which had a frozen bearing and belt burn damage.
6. Replaced belt.
7. Lubricated wheels, transmission axle bearings, and height adjusters.
8. Sharpened blade.
9. Reassembled and replaced the badly worn front left the wheel.
10. Adjusted drive control cable.

Husqvarna, HU800AWD (model 961450011 02) self propelled drive belt (12) had jumped rear gear case pulley (14). Blade (47), debris cover (20), front baffle (51), front shroud (99) and rear baffle (17) removed. Rear drive gear case baffle (17) removal requires removal of rear bolt of lower side bumper (114) to reveal hidden attach bolt (56 ) for rear baffle. Rear gear case belt keeper bracket (26) accessed by disconnecting drive cable at gear case and rotating gear case forward. Front gear case belt keeper (45) accessed at underside of gear case. Idler pulleys (48) removed and reinstalled for routing belt through idler pulley bracket (2) belt keepers. Numbers in parenthesis reference index numbers in accordance with Husqvarna, HU800AWD (model 961450011_02) self propelled 22\" lawnmower illustrated parts manual. eReplacement parts supplied for this preseason refurbish \"spot on\". Timely shipping and exact fit. Thanks for the support.

Drive belt was worn, and one of the drive pulleys was damaged

1) Remove the front plasticcover from the top of the mower deck & the bottom plastic cover from under the deck
2)I Removed the old belt using a screw driver, then installed the new belt.
3)After I installed the belt, I removed the damaged pulley from the center of the drive mechanism under the deck, and replaced it.
4)Re assembled the mower and tested successfully

Drive control lever was fairly easy: disassembled housing, carefully removed top parts noting what went where and careful with springs, then put all parts back in order and locking the springs in place. Then reassembling the housing.
Replacing the belt was an almost endless adventure that I can\'t recall the steps but it took mor e disassembly than I expected and getting to all the right bolts. Sorry I don\'t have steps but The hardest part was getting the belt in the pulleys/keeper guides (rear).

This mower was straight forward to repair. Pulleys that belt runs on had to be removed before belt could be replaced but the task was quit simple.
The only thing that bothers me is the housing front and back had to be removed before belt could be gotten to.

1 pulley broke. 2 weeks earlier I replaced self-propel cable. not knowing pulley was probably fractured. It broke so I decided to replace belt, pulley and rear skirt.

Removed and replaced pulleys, drive belt and controller. Still having a problem with reinstall of brake reset spring. Have searched high and low for diagram, instructions, video, etc. to show how to reinstall the spring. Absolutely nothing for my model relating to reinstallation of the brake reset spring. Dozens of videos for most any other repair.
