Repair Manual for Jet JML 1040 Mini Lathe. Removed Spindle and bearing using allen wrenches, hammer, wood block, and steel punch. No special instruction required. I have the expertise and training to accomplish the repair. Finding the parts was the most important thing. You saved my day. I love this place.
I disconnected the power and then released the belt tension. Took the hand wheel off, there are two set screws. In the spindle you have two setscrews, loosen both of them so that the spindle will move freely.
