?This part comes directly from Breville. This Core Gear is used in the Breville 800CPXL Citrus Press. This Gear is made of a hard plastic and is one of three gears that drive the Reamer (part number SP0000024). If the Reamer stops turning while the motor is still on, then one of the gears have stripped out and have lost teeth. Replacing the Gear will require the use of a Philips head screw driver.

2. Removed the lit and disengage the wiring.
3. Removed the screws on top of the motor.
4. Open the motor and pop the gear out.
5. Replaced and reassembled.

2. Remove the three screws holding the case and motor together.
3. Remove the top casing. I disconnected the wire to the engage switch.
4. Remove the old gear.
5. Clean any nylon chips from the gear cavity.
6. Lubricate the ... Read more new gear and replace it. I used grease from the cavity.z
7. Reconnect the engage switch wire.
8. Position the motor (there is a rubber bumper that needs to be placed correctly).
9. Position the top plate onto the case.
10. Replace the case screws.
11. Replace the bottom plate.
12. I removed the handle and cleaned the juice splatter from the inside portion of the handle, you have to push in the spring loaded catches to do this.
