Blade wouldn\'t tighten in jigsaw

First ordered top handle and a plastic ratcheting knob that goes under the top handle not realizing it comes as a set. Blade still wouldn\'t tighten. Then ordered the compression spring and after installing it the saw is back up and running. Tried a few times to disassemble and figure out how it all works and never did understand it but h appy it all worked out
