This is a Performax 16-32 sander that had a broken height adjustment handle.
I drove the pin out with a small punch and removed the broken handle.
The Jet parts were the same as the Performax so it was easy to replace the handle and
drive the new pin in with a hammer and punch. The larger knob was an improvement.
Put a wood block under the sanding drum so it doesn\'t drop when you drive out the pin. Using a ball peen hammer and the right size drift pin, drive out the old pin. Take the old handle assembly off the shaft and insert the new assembly in it\'s place. Line up the pin holes and drive in the new pin. Raise the drum and take out the block.
