Friction ring and o\'ring were missing from square drive.
1. Install o\'ring in groove on square drive.
2. Install friction ring over o\'ring in groove on square drive.

Replace friction ring and o-ring

Clean anvil groove.

Slip o-ring over anvil and into anvil groove.

Slip friction ring on anvil. Start with one side of friction ring in anvil groove and use your fingers to walk the ring into the anvil groove.

Brushed burnt out and piece of the brush card got it to armature and tore it up.

Removed half of the case. Pulled armature and card assembly out of form fitted spots. Removed the twin screws on card assembly for the two wires and put new card in.

Removed snap friction ring, pulled o-ring off, put on new o-ring. To put the friction ring back on itÆs easiest to grab a bunch of rags, then with the friction ring at the tip of the wrench push downward into the rags to snap friction ring on.

The rubber hand grip had worn completly off from fuel and use

remover all the screws pulled off one half while leaving everything else laying on table in the other half. set the new half on top of the other half and flip over holding together. carefully pulled the other old half off. installed the second new half watching wire and other loose parts. Becarefull everything goes in the right spot. inst all screws and test.

Removed old clip and oring , put new oring on the placed clip on the end of anvil and pushed down on a hard surefaced.

opened gap in ring with e ring tool. installed onto impact wrench. ring didn\'t shrink enough.
