This replacement clamshell housing assembly is specially designed for use with Dewalt impact wrenches. It is an authentic OEM sourced part, not an aftermarket equivalent. This is the main body and the handle of an impact wrench. This set contains both the right and left sides of the housing. This assembly includes the hardware to secure the pieces together. This clamshell is made out of durable plastic and it is sold individually. Replacing it you will need a screwdriver.

The rubber hand grip had worn completly off from fuel and use
remover all the screws pulled off one half while leaving everything else laying on table in the other half. set the new half on top of the other half and flip over holding together. carefully pulled the other old half off. installed the second new half watching wire and other loose parts. Shattered handle assembly. Run over by a snowcat!!! Ouch.....!!!
Carefully disassembled the electronics from the handle assembly noting the location of the various components. Reassembled into the new handle and tested. Good to go.......
1. Removed the screws from old impact driver case.
2. Took the old impact driver parts out old driver.
3. Put the old impact driver parts into the new impact driver handle assembly.
