This replacement spring plate is an authentic OEM part which is made for use with Milwaukee power tools. The spring connects to the switch lever allowing it to retract. On / off trigger was worn out, and forward and reverse selector was worn out.

Disassemble case and replace trigger switch. Had to cut two wires and re-solder. As far as the selector switch just pull out and replace.

Unbolted the 15 screws took a part replaced spring, screwed back together piece a cake

The forward/reverse shuttle did not have any detents. It would just flop back and forth. The spring plate was missing in action

1. Removed torx head screws holding the 2 halves of impact together
2 Pulled out shuttle/trigger assembly
3 Installed new spring plate
4 Installed new shuttle w/ old trigger assembly
5 CLEAN OUT INSIDE WITH COMPRESSED AIR
6 Reassemble the 2 halves of the case. Test.

Reverse forward switch was loose..missing spring plate that makes the switch click sound

Opened Miwaukee impact ..rectangle slot under switch ..drop in spring plate with
v hump pointing up to underneath switch.replaced body cover back on.put
t-10 security screws back in .now switch is tight.has click now
when i slide switch .kudos to e-replacement for that part in stock.

Forward / reverse was stuck

Removed all screws holding the housing together . Then separated the impact wrench so I could replace the spring in the forward/reverse switch and the forward/reverse switch itself. Once everything was in place I reassembled the impact wrench.
