Product Description
?This OEM housing assembly in your impact driver is the protective outer casing that encloses the internal components of the tool, providing structural support. The assembly consists of both the top and bottom sides and it operates using a 20-volt battery. To identify if the housing assembly is broken, look for visible cracks, fractures, or loose components. Excessive vibration or unusual noises during operation can also indicate a problem. To replace the housing assembly, remove all the screws and separate the case. Transfer all the components from the old case to the new one, ensuring switches like the forwards and reverse switch and power settings are properly aligned. Then, reassemble the case by putting all the screws back in using a screwdriver with a Torx bit. Note that the screws are sold separately from the housing.
