This high quality gasket is a genuine manufacturer sourced replacement part that is specially designed for Husqvarna gas powered handheld lawn and garden equipement. This gasket is generally used to provide an air tight seal between the carburetor and the insulator. Over time gaskets tend to get compressed and deteriorate eventually requiring replacement. One compound material gasket is included per order.

Trimmer would not stay running

1. Took pictures before I took it apart.
2. Removed all the plastic.
3. Removed the tank.
4. Replaced the hoses and filter on the tank.
5. Replaced the fuel primer on the main unit.
6. Mounted the new hoses to the new carburetor.
7. Removed the old carburetor.
8. Installed the new carburetor and g asket to the trimmer.
9. Reinstalled the tank and all the plastic.
10. Started the trimmer and made adjustments to the carburetor.
11. Installed the carburetor stops to the Jets.

Removed external housing, then removed carburetor. Cleaned gasket surfaces, and installed new parts. Started engine and set carburetor low speed idle screw and set high speed screw for proper fuel mixture settings.

removed all the plastic from engine, removed the cylinder, cleaned trimmer, replaced gaskets in carb, replaced fuel line and filter, reassembled, new gas started trimmer. runs great.

The carburetor was flooding the cylinder, would not start the cylinder was flooding with gas.

1. Remove the cover.
2. Remove the throttle cable.
3. Remove two mounting screws.
4. Remove the carburetor.
5. Replace the gasket with the new one.
6. Install the new carburetor.
7. Replace the throttle cable.
8. Assemble all covers.
9. Adjust the mixture for proper running.

3. Disconnected the throttle cable and fuel lines

9. Reinstalled air filter
10. Reinstalled cover
11. Started the Trimmer
