This replacement chuck screw is specially manufactured for Dewalt drills and drivers. It is a genuine OEM sourced hardware that is used to secure the chuck to the spindle. Please note, this hex socket head screw is sold individually and is a left hand thread. You will need a hex key also known as an allen wrench to secure or remove it.

Used a pair of large pliers to remove chuck, actually had to force screw to snap.

I watch videos and then I ordered the Chuck Screw and the Keyless Chuck.
When I got my parts I put on and there it was Fixed and like a new now.

Removed the chuck screw, Removed the old keyless chuck. Installed new keyless chuck. Installed the new chuck screw. Job all done good as bee!

THE STEPS WERE SIMPLE, BUT IT WAS PHYSICALLY DIFFICULT !!!
I had to have husband and son work together to do this.
Directions said this required a hex wrench but it actually required a torque wrench.
1 - Loosen and remove chuck screw
2 - Loosen and remove old chuck
3 - Screw on new chuck
4 - Insert and tighten new chuck screw

Used a small pipe wrench to unscrew old chuck, which broke off the screw. Used a dremel with cutoff wheel. Cut a slot in broken screw, then used a large Flathead screw driver to remove screw.
New chuck and new screw went on as it should.
