I watched the on-line video noting the reverse bolt that had to be removed. It was pretty tight. I had to put a vise grip on the screw driver and it immediately came loose. Mine had a a \'star\' center on the small bolt. Used the Allen wrench to loosen the chuck. Didn\'t have to use the hammer on it as the Allen wrench was pretty l ong. Reversed the process getting everything tight. Pretty easy change over. No more loosening of the chuck on the bit.

I removed the inner retaining bolt with an Allen wrench. It should be noted that the bolt is left handed threads. So clockwise to loosen. Next i stuck a large Allen wrench inside the chuck and tightened the chuck around it. From there use the Allen wrench to spin the chuck off the drill motor. It took considerable force but it finally gav e way. After removing the chuck you can reverse the process with the new chuck.
