?This genuine OEM sourced drill chuck is designed for use with Dewalt drills/drivers. Its purpose is to secure drill bits. This keyless chuck allows for easy bit exchange without any tools. Please note this chuck is sold individually. The screw used to secure chuck is sold separately. To complete this job you would need a hex key/allen wrench. • Remove chuck screw • Take out old chuck • Secure new chuck • Install chuck screw and test the unit

Cleaned shaft and applied small dab of never cease before installing and tightening the new chuck, inserted the new L/H lock screw and task was complete.
Burning out chuck.. chuck replacment

2. Removed all gears and ball bearings from the gear box.
3. Placed broken chuck in vise and sprayed PB blaster inside of chuck .
4. Let sit for an hour or so.
5. Turned chuck and gear box over and put back in vise tightly .
6. Used 11mm socket with ... Read more big ratchet on gear side
, turning counter clockwise with good pressure to remove chuck.
7. Reinstalled bearings and gears with a tad of grease.
8. Reinstalled screws and casing.
9. Put on battery to make sure everything working correctly.
10. Screwed on new chuck and tightened with drills own power.
