The hardest thing was to lift the grill up. Needed an extra pair of hands. Once you have the grill the way you want it. Remove the old insert, then tap the new one in, then press the new caster in with your hand.

2004 Weber Genesis Gold C Rebuild

Bought my Weber Genesis Gold C grill in 2004. It was time to rebuild it.
eReplacements managed to have everything I needed.
The new Side Burner Base and Electrode were super easy to put together and install.
The only tricky part of the side burner is being very careful with the fragile Rigid Tube that connects from the gas manifold to the side burner base.
The best way to both remove and reinstall this rigid tube is to use either an open end wrench, or adjustable wrench...Do not attempt to do this with a set of pliers. This tube is very thin walled, and you stand a chance of breaking this tube.

The Control Panel was just as easy to install. The trick to this is to install the Control Panel before you install the side burner section. If you do this, you won\'t have any issues installing this.

The Casters w/inserts are the easiest to install. Simply tap the caster receivers into each leg opening, and push each caster into it\'s receiver.

I love the fact the eReplacements has everything I would need to keep my Weber grill operating at its peak performance.
Their prices are very competitive, and shipping is very fast with everything I ordered very well packaged. Very pleased.

Tilted grill and propped right side up enough to remove caster w/insert. Placed new insert in slot and lightly tapped into place with a small block of wood and hammer until it was seated. Completed other side in same manner. Caster w/insert was an exact fit and was very easy to replace.
